Education/Professional Development Committee
Selecting the economic development topics and speakers for KAED's courses and conferences is the main duty of this committee. A sub-committee, Awards and Scholarship, is responsible for reviewing all applications submitted for KAED's various awards and scholarship opportunities.

Golf Tournament Committee
Each year KAED hosts its annual Jesse L. Puckett Memorial Golf Scramble in Shelbyville. The Golf Committee plans the event and secures sponsorships for the scramble.

Marketing & Membership Committee
This committee oversees the development of all KAED marketing efforts, including print materials and brand development. Implementing membership growth plans and reviewing KAED's member benefits are also primary duties of this committee.

Public Policy Committee
KAED serves as an advocate in Kentucky's General Assembly for legislation favoring business and economic development issues. The Public Policy Committee updates members on legislatives happenings and helps define the organization's policy agenda.
