Annual dues are $150 and the membership period is January – December. You may pay by credit card or check. KAED membership resides with individual for whom the dues were paid and is not transferable. There are no corporate or organizational memberships.

Under federal law, dues paid to an organization that engages in lobbying are deductible to the extent of the portion of dues used in non-lobbying efforts, if paid as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Per IRS 6033 (c) we therefore disclose that 6.4% of your 2007 dues will be spent on lobbying activity and is therefore not deductible.
