• Educational training programs and seminars are available through KAED and the Kentucky Institute for Economic Development and other professional development programs for which scholarships are available through KAED.
   
• KAED honors several individuals each year with different awards.  Please visit our awards page for more details.
   
• KAED has Resource Library of information useful to economic development professionals.
   
• A wage and benefit survey of economic development professionals and organizations is completed as needed.   Contact us to request the current survey results.
   

• The KAED membership directory is printed annually and includes listing by business classification, geographic location and by member name. It includes a listing of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development staff.
   
• KAED offers enhanced listings in the online membership directory.  Please contact mcrosman@kaedonline.org for more details. 
   

• Active KAED members may join a committee and participate in coordinating the activities and services provided by KAED. (Click here download the Sign-Up sheet)
   

• KAED, in conjunction with Kentucky Adult Education, offers community assessment visits, which are completed with a final report/plan for the community.  For more information on the community assessment visits, please contact Mike Mangeot at mmangeot@kaedonline.org.
    

• Networking and other valuable tools are available through KAED to use in the economic development profession.
   

• As “a leading voice in Kentucky’s economic development,” KAED is well positioned to provide speakers to local, regional and state-wide groups in Kentucky on a variety of topics.
